We stayed for 3 weeks this past Dec/Jan. We love it. The staff was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was more like a brunch. The standard room was great. We love the location. If you want me to e-mail you directly, I will. When are you going?

Thanks Georgiegirl!! My E-mail is [email protected].

I will be going 9/22 thru 9/29. I was originally going to stay at The Peninsula, but then decided to take another trip in May to San Francisco, so I had to save $ on my hotel in Bangkok. I'm paying $66 a nite including tax and breakfast for the Silom Serene, not too bad!!! Would you say that the Hotel is in a good area? As close as they say to a Skytrain?

What's the address of this hotel and what skytrain station is it near? I'll add it to my list of many hotels, too. Happy Travels!

The rate of $66 seems a bit high depending on the type of room you are getting. You can get a deluxe room for $47 and an exc one for $57 - including taxes/service charges/breakfast. You will enjoy your stay here as the hotel is great and less than a 5 minute walk to the skytrain station.

I got the $66 rate from Asiahotels.com. Sounded like quite a deal!! The Hotel looks nice from its website, so I hope I'll be happy with my choice!!
