Outstanding! We are very happy. Time for a pad thai and some ice cream! Start with the ice cream, you deserve it.

Wonderful wonderful news panda - are they sure it was the tumor and not the brain that has reduced in size?

Looks good for asia again. Where to go - where to go!

Great news Andy. I think your position as self appointed enforcer of trip report misdemeanors and felonies comes with some added responsibilities. I think we should require you to submit your trip report on your next Asia sojourn before you leave home.

That is FANTASTIC Andy!!! I am so happy to hear this news. We can't wait to see you and we expect you to be in top form. No special niceties towards his Bobness allowed.

Keep up the good work!

Congrats on the great news, Andy! I trust this means you'll be egging on my DH with anti-Caroline taunts in no time at all?

We're with you in spirit!

Such an excellent outcome, Mr Panda! So happy to hear the good news - sounds like all your treatment enhanced the Panda-influence to sway even our new Fodor's posting rules and editors.

Way to go! And Asia awaits you with open-arms

(Have you been secretly flying of late with those sensational Singapore Girls or what?! 'Doctor's cure', indeed.)

Now, warm greetings Andy, and warm congrats on your fine prognosis! And, suppose you know what that means: SQ First/Business long-hauls all the way from N.A. to beloved Asia!

Once back in The Promised Land, a garden of joyous, fun-loving Asian 'masseuses' awaits. (And, suspect I can show you a few hidden SIN and BKK (and even HKG, NRT, and ICN) 'parlours' for your 'recovery'. Sure to provide cheerful, uplifting treatments. (Best to send Beth on various shopping missions.)

Of late, recent SIA promos for those flying ex-JFK and EWR to Asia. Kindly check 'em out over on singaporeair.com , and thanks in advance for booking with SQ and for supporting various Asian economies. A beloved cousin (a rather severe cancer survivor) and her husband and two children recently completed five nights at the now more 'guest friendly' Oriental hotel (thanks, partly to me) in Bangkok. (And yes, I lured them into flying SQ for most of their sectors - most satisfying.)

All the best my friend, stay away from those vegas tables (Asia only, via SIA), and cut back on those fat cancer sticks - longer life, means more Girl flying opportunities!

I'm off this evening on another SQ flight (guess the city and number), so will send early warm weekend wises to you and all in family friendly fodorland.

Great new Panda. I was at Brigham and Women's for an appt. on 6/23 and thought good thoughts and positivity about you. It's a great hospital isn't it?

Continue doing well!

Thanks for all the support. Welcome to the newcomers. I'm sure you will discover that this forum enhances Asian vacations. The posters are informed, friendly and helpful. Just ask away with your questions. Don't worry if any question seems stupid, Bob (RhkKmk) has been posting unbelievable dumb stuff for years. We will roll with the punches.

I have another important scan on July 22, 201o, so I hope you did not use up all your mojo on the first scan. I need help on that one as well.

I can't ever promise to be in top form, but I do hope that I will be in my usual form. I leave it to some others to judge. Neither Beth nor Bob get a vote.

Bob just proposed to Beth that we join them for their entire fall Asia vacation. My first thought was "Haven't I suffered enough?" There is a constitutional prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment. Do Needhamites still believe in the constitution?

Positive vibes for the second scan are very welcome.
