Gifts for men in Thailand

Have thought of gifts to bring back to female family members (silk scarves, amlets). How about gifts for men (all ages), teenage boys, and younger boys (2 years). Probably in the $10 - $30 range. Easy to pack and small size would be my preference. Thanks in advance.

Silk Ties good idea, easy to pack and don't take up space. For young kids perhaps one of the Bangkok Tuk-Tuk models would be a fun an unique gift!

Yes, my nephews loved the tuk-tuk models I bought for them so many years ago! Silk ties are a good suggestion for men, and t-shirts are a much loved gift by my nephews now (they are now teenagers).

one thought about the ties...be careful of the length...many are very short for thais....westerners need a longer tie....i like jim thompson ties for simplicity, length and quality....of course you pay for this...try the outlet...mostly dogs, but some good ones

Just as a tip, pick up a few cheap souvenirs for anyone who suddenly you realise you had forgotten, or perhaps comes around, nothing worse than handing out gifts and someone unexpected turns up and you think .."aaaaah"

we buy things like sets of 3 cotton tea towels, or silk purses or cosmetic bags, or hankies made of silk or cotton that can be worn as a neck scarf---jim thompson has wonderful ones...
