Foodie Group Tour in Japan

Hello,
My husband and I are thinking of visiting Japan next year to experience the food and sites for about 10 days, give and take a day or two (busy work life). Can you recommend an excellent foodie group tour? I was told Intrepid has a good one, but I'm looking for more recommendations. Thank you in advance!

I can't answer your question, but would note that it is very easy to visit Japan on one's own -- even for foodies!

If you haven't already seen it, I urge you to spend lots of time with japan-guide.com and with the JNTO website.

Good luck!

And look at Yukari Sakamoto’s book “Food Sake Tokyo.” She gives tours as well.

Happy: If you took a tour with her, which one was it?

The NYTimes sometimes offers some interesting Japan food tours...
