Castellanese - I haven't been to Morocco, but if your problem there was with being hassled for money, I have to tell you that India is absolutely the worst place I've been to for that, and within India Agra was the worst and Rajasthan the second worst. You might want to reconsider where you go in India - I thought it was better up in the mountains, and somewhat better in the south - which is also cleaner.
Some suggestions for coping:
Give beforehand to an Indian charity, this allows you to ignore the beggars with a clean conscience.
Look at it as practice in the fine art of saying "no". I found that saying nothing, continuing to walk, and keeping my eyes fixed on the middle distance usually worked. A couple of times in Agra it didn't, and then just standing still and ignoring the guy shook him. Actually hiring a guide, or a rickshaw for the day, cuts down on the hassle, because now you're "taken", and "I have one" is unanswerable.
