Yup, thursday - by some miracle the Courtyard is allowing me back. BTW, do the upgrade. I'll be going back to my savior, Mr. Foot later today so I'll get a card. But basically, across the road from Central World. Truly a miracle man.
Alas, kimmy won't be there Marija.

It's August 18th and by then, with luck, I'll be on top of a mountain in Phulbari where nobody, hopefully, will give a rat's A.
Surprise birthday parties are not my thing. Celebrating a birthday with total strangers is about as horrible an experience as I can imagine.
But thank you for remembering, just the same. I'd completely forgotten that was coming up.

You're fifteen hours or so ahead of us in 'Straya. Guess I failed to roll the date ahead when you said "today." Sorry. But then again if you were in Melbourne we'd have to start celebrating on the 17th to keep up with you.
If that mountain top connects you only to higher powers and not to us -- Happy Birthday in advance. (Surely you'll accept birthday greetings from a bunch of total strangers!)
I'm already looking forward to the next chapter. Stay well and enjoy.

Thanks Marija: I rather suspect, if I get there, that WiFi access will err.. rather limited. And yup, birthday greetings from a bunch of not-so-total strangers is very nice indeed. Truly, I had forgotten all about it.
Craig, I've made no arrangements as yet - it'll all depend on the state of the rains and the roads. All will be revealed in a matter of hours. It's been three years since I was there - anything might have happened. Knowing Nepal, it will have.

And, for those who have no idea what we're talking about: one of the Dogster's most Secret Treasures.

I was up in the mountains for weeks without internet and now I come back to another fantastic dogster travel tale. Great reporting! I am looking forward to the rest of the story. Happy Birthday in advance!
