Credit Card Error on JR Pass Official Website
Hello,
We're trying to buy a 21 day JR pass off the official website but it keeps saying that the Credit Card is not accepted? We've already booked several things in Japan (Ghibli, Sumo, Kabuki) with no issues but this keeps giving us the same error despite us trying several different cards. Anyone run into this issue? Or know the fix? We want to book off the official website so we can start booking reservations online. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Here is the detailed error:
This is what JR East says:
Your request for reservation is yet to be submitted.

Contact the cc company. See if they got an authentication request and if they did why it failed.
When is your trip? I would not be concerned about getting seat reservations before arrival in Japan unlesss it was during Golden Week, Obon, or end of year holidays. Outside of those times, maybe it would be worthwhile for Tokaido shinkansen (Tokyo -- Shin Osaka). It would be a good idea to get those a few days in advance.
There are a couple of JR limited express trains used by tourists that you would want to get seats in advance (Shinjuku to Kawaguchiko, Shinjuku to Nikko). Others are easy to get reservations or just go unreserved.
What is your itinerary? A 21-day pass could be overkill.
