I am waiting for my PU letter and Work Permit so that I can apply for my work visa. Currently I am in Connecticut and I can only apply at the New York consulate. Unfortunately I have to move to Illinois state, which means I have to apply at the Chicago consulate. My PU letter and Work Permit are addressed to the New York consulate. Would the New York consulate accept my application even after moving to Illinois? My employer said it’s too late to change consulate. Thanks for your help.

I can't imagine many people would have any idea if the New York consulate accept my application. Why not contact the New York Consulate and ask them???
