cambodia visa - prepurchase in UK?

Does anybody know if you can pre-buy your visa for Cambodia whilst in the UK, or do you need to get it on arrival in Siem Reap?
Thanks Debbie

You can get it at the Cambodian embassy in the UK.

Probably better to get it in the UK, the last few times I've been to Cambodia I've been overcharged at the border posts. They'll insist you pay in TB and slap on a couple hundred BT for this & that, which generally comes to 50% more than the official visa fee.

While overcharging has been a chronic problem at the overland crossings, there has been no overcharging reported at the airports.

me again!

If I am travelling to Siem Reap at the start of April, when should I apply for a visa? This may be a very silly question, but I don't know whether to apply for one now (can they post-date them??) or do I need to apply a month or so before I get there.

We are staying in Siem Reap for 5 nights.

Thanks

Deb

No you can't appply for one now for April. Check the consulate's website. Most countries the visa is good for entry within 30 or 60 days.
