I am in Kampot now and I trying to apply for the new Vietnam e-visa online and can't seem to upload my passport photo and data page. I am not sure what is wrong.

applied at the official site her: http://xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn but I keep getting error message.

Is this e-visa working? I read on google that there are problems with the system. I don't want to go back to Sihanoukville. Evisa is also only $25.00US

I think you are using the wrong website. Here is the address for the VN government website issuing visas: https://immigration.gov.vn

And the website you are using for instructions is a travel agency website - I wouldn't use that.

PS Unless it has changed, you can only use the e-visa is you are entering by air, not overland.

I got the e-visa. It DOES work. You need to "clear cookies" from your web browser and not run Facebook or anything that is tracking you in the background before applying, that was my issue.

Kathie: the e-visa is for land, sea, and air. When you apply you will see the entry and exit ports in the drop down menu.
