Bringing vitamins to Japan - ok in ziploc baggies?
Going to Japan for first time. Have read all the info on prescription meds and will bring in original prescription containers. I'm wondering about vitamins. My husband takes a lot of vitamins (iron, zinc, multi-vitamin, etc.) and to bring each in its original container would require an extra small bag that we would need to check (we always do carryon only). He usually just puts how many he needs in a ziploc and labels it. Will this fly in Japan?

I take a few vitamins as well and divided them up into two plastic baggies. I'm here for two months so my vitamins and meds took up half my carryon. I wasn't stopped at Customs and Immigration for any sort of search so no problem at all.
I did get a Yakkan Shoumei for my prescription meds as that is necessary if you bring in more than thirty days' worth.
