Bringing medication to Thailand

Hi there,

So my best friend and I are going to Thailand for three weeks next month and I had a question concerning bringing medications. I was just wondering if we bring them in our carry on bags or in our checked luggage. We'll be bringing birth control, an antibiotic for travellers diarrhea, and motion sickness relief.

Thanks in advance!

If your bag got lost, could you travel without these meds? Could you replace them easily and not worry about the new ones being counterfeit? (Lots in Asia are)

I rank my medications right up there with electronic items, cash and jewelry. I'd never pack them in a checked bag.

They would probably not be easy to replace. Thanks everyone for the help!
