Thanks for the answers, Bob. I'm not about to admit how many of these I could not answer. I'll just take it as a sign that I need to travel a great deal more.
Since most folks here know Bangkok so well, I am going to admit something that may get me skewered for flunking our first trip to that city.
During one great week there we enjoyed so many things -- the Palace, magnificent wats, the Jim Thompson house, a klong tour, Patravardi theater, Thai dancing, long-tail river boats, delicious meals, Thai massage, skytrain rides, water taxis, and even the sewage canal public taxis, to name what springs to mind.
I cannot, for the life of me, remember a giant swing. In missing that, did we miss much?

Now let's see. If one wanted to communicate the answers to previously posted questions, would it be more effective to post the answers as a "stand-alone" post or would it be better to copy the questions and then insert the answers below each question? This is another prime example of why bankers are known so well for their communication skills. I did get eight correct answers, so this is not pent-up bitterness. Merely a public service.
