I visited some of the places which listed by Nancy when I was in Beijing last November. It was great. But...remember to cut the price into half or even more. I bought a piece of lady blouse at Ya Xiu Market, the price stated was RMB 100.00. Well, I got it in RMB 50.00 but it was still consider expensive when one of my Beijing friend told me that, I actually can buy the blouse at only RMB 25.00. Oh, my god!

I'm interested in pens, fountain pens....Mont Blanc, Visconti, Czrtier, etc

Can someone recommend a "Pen" shop in Beijing or Shanghai?

I'm also interested in Cashmere(REAL) and Pashmina scrafs and shawls?

Also Hermes scarves...and men's Linen (quality) shirts and jackets.

Any help will be appeciated as my time for shopping in Beijing will be limited to a few hours, total, in the evening over the course of 2-3 days...and in Shanghai I will only have a only a couple of hours, maximum, for shopping.

By teh way, I'm told that one should never make a first offer of more than 1/10th of the first asking price(bao jia) of the seller.
