Beach/Luxury Honeymoon in Thailand
My fiance and I are planning a honeymoon in Thailand for about 8 nights March 2012. We are thinking the Amanpuri in Phukett and want one other location/resort. Thoughts on Amanpuri or is there a better place to stay in Phukett? Also, any suggestions for a second location/resort? We do not have a budget and would love recommendations for the most romantic and luxurious resorts. Thanks!!

Here's a nice list of honeymoon-worthy resorts in Phuket:

My suggestion for a second location would be Bangkok - an fascinating city with lots to do and see, great food and unbelievable shopping. There are many fabulous hotels in Bangkok. I'm partial to the river location. The two best in that area are the Oriental and the Peninsula. But a new St Regis recently opened, and it's worth looking at that as well.

Check out the Rayavadee in Krabi, most amazing location I have been to and a beautiful hotel. We had a bit of an issue with the food when we went 5 years ago but I hear it's very much improved. It's most certainly luxurious and romantic.
