Just make sure you guys get a chance to visit Maeng!!! Bob was talking about possibly going there for lunch one day... not possible. The place doesn't open until 2pm. Dinner around 8pm would be great. Maeng should be there, and she would be delighted to cook for you if you tell her that you are my friends. (she cooks for the chef at BoLan, btw)

Carol-Bob has this ridiculous firm schedule for restaurants. I will try to break through so we can try the PL. It makes most sense to go there when we're staying at the Plaza Athenee 11/26/-11/30. You should go ahead and warn Maeng now. Bob can be a little hard to take.

It's a chicken restaurant in Soi Polo and was, and still is, popular over 20 years ago. The Sum Tum there is also good. It's call "Polo" because it's the soi that the RBSC Polo Club is situated. Close to the US Embassy.
I like to buy the chicken and Sum Tum and then eat it at the bar in the Polo Club.
