Bali - where to stay
Hi all,
we would like to go to Bali for a week. We have 2 girls of 8 and 5 y old. We don't want to go to Kuta. We really would like to explore some of the island. And relax in a hotel/villa.
Do you know nice and affordable places to stay?
We would prefer not to go to a huge resort with kids club etc. Just a nice place where we can enjoy the surroundings. Kids are adamant about a pool...
Where do we really need to go? What do we really need to see?
Thanks

MANY cost effective options with recent honest reviews.
Ubud area for me any of the www.komaneka.com properties
within your budget constraints Monkey Forest would be my favorite. Sanur great vibe for beach.

Check out http://www.poincianaresortbali.com/ for a wonderful respite away from the hassles and noise of the South. Good luck.

The newest Komineka just outside Ubud, opened about 15 months ago is very nice and for what you get I think it is well worth the price. The one on Monket Forest has too many steps though it is very nice and is a few dollars less.
