Baby Boomers

I am a college student researching for the specific travel needs of Baby Boomers. If you are a Baby Boomer, I would greatly appreciate if you could provide me with answers to the following short questions:

Q1: Disregarding budget and feasibility, what is your DREAM VACATION DESTINATION?

Q2: What quality does your dream destination exhibit that appeals to you (e.g. culture, nature, casinos, etc.)?

Thank you so much for your help!

Justin

Boomer sez: No hassle, tourist (USA) friendly. Include climate friendly, animals and culture and fun.
FUN IS MOST IMPORTANT!!!
Also price according to financial possibilities, safe (no hassles).
No sitting duck cruises in areas under political fire.

My dream destinations are all over the world: Asia (Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Burma, Nepal, China, Japan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Malaysia), Middle East (Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Turkey), Africa (Morocco, Tunisia, Tanzania, Kenya), Europe (G.B., France, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Greece, Scandanava, Russia) , South America (Peru, Galapagos, Patagonia), South Seas (French Polynesia, Fuji, New Zealand). I've been to most of these places, still have a few to go (as well as faves to re-visit).

I am most interested in culture, both contemproary culture and historical and ancient cultures.

Justin,
What a fun project you have undertaken and you are very wise soliciting advice from the baby boomers.
Question #1
Where?
Anywhere we have not visited. What ever or wherever we have slated the next destination.
Downunder....3 week driving tour on our own of New Zealand.
Question #2
Culture....nature...have never passed up on a casino either. All of the above.
Good luck.
Has anyone told you how quick life flys? Before you know it, you'll be one of us!!!!
Enjoy Life Justin.
Hi, Justin, wow, my answers will be a bit different from the other two posts.

1. My dream vacation would be in-depth time spent in all the places I've visited in the past. I always love anywhere I go and would like to live there, so I would want to spend enough time in my previous travel places to feel like a native.

2. I prefer nature, villages, historical places, and meeting locals although the excitement of large cities is enticing in small doses.

One thing you might consider is that some or maybe many boomers no longer have good health. My late husband (died at 52) developed severe health problems in his 40s but still traveled to be with me. We limited our travel to cruises so he could stay on board and visit with new friends while I toured. He required a wheelchair and handicapped access on trips. Many boomers are still physically able to do anything but some aren't so you might consider this in your research.
