Asiana airline problem
Problem with Asiana - we cannot seem to get a confirmation from them with our assigned seats. We originally were flying Business class from Shanghai to Korea then change planes and fly from Korea to SFO also Business class BUT they changed the flight time of the first segment which didn't allow us enough time to get to the next segment. we had to move to an earlier flight but now we are in coach for the first segment as there are no seats in Business - not a big deal as it is a fairly short flight. However, the agent tells us we have seats # ----- but still have not seen a confirmation indicating that. DH asked if we need anything from them and they say no..Went on their webstie and it looks like to me that you can reserve your seat but not your seat number until 2 days before flight? I'm a bit worried about taking someones word for it that we have these seats on both segments.....Does that make sense to anyone?????

When I made Asiana reservations through United using miles, I had to call the airline to get seat assignments. I don't recall ever having received written confirmation of the actual seat numbers but when we showed up, we got our verbally assigned seats. This was for flights from Narita to Incheon and Incheon to Hanoi.

rhkkmk....looked up our confirm and it doesn't show assigned seats, we have printed confirm from UAL for this segment (used mileage for this trip on one of their partners) again with no seats assigned......Will try again....
