...Any outstanding recommendations?

Hi all! I can't believe I'm leaving in a few days. This date has snuck up so fast on us, the lst time I looked we were 2 mos. away. Anyway, we look forward to eating like crazy and going out for drinks and more eating I'm so excited this time since it seems like its been a while (1 yr). Will be in Pattaya for a weekend and Khon Kaen a few days. We will probably do a dinner cruise one night, despite it being a touristy thing, but it looks beautiful. I love Bangkok at night. Anyway, I thank everyone for their past suggestions and if someone's dying for something let me know and I may pick it up for you.

Regards,

Kurt

Kurt-try to set a record and eat enough for both Bob and me. Have a great time and remember the penalty clock starts running once you return. A short post from Thailand can prevent this.

Thanks Bob Kathie and Gpanda! Will write up a mini trip report after I endure most of the jet lag (depressing for me!). I'll certainly eat for all of you! Thanks again and take care! (Sorry for my rant on shark fins earlier--I saw this recently and was horrified).

Regards,

Kurt

Mango-our attitude on long trips is to just go into suspended animation from when you leave your home until you check in. The amount of time becomes meaningless and you separate yourself from the frustration.

Hi Gpanda,

Thanks for your idea. I'm not bothered by going to Thailand....Just a bit groggy during the day, but when I come back I feel a tad depressed for about a week. I intend to get more sun exposure when at home this time. BestRegards,

kurt
