Haven`t heard too much good about this airline, but will be flying LAX to Beijing. Heard no seat assignments until I get to the airport. I do want a window seat. What time should I plan on arriving at LAX?

I have read that unless you get to Air China extra early, you will end up with a middle aisle seat. That`s why I asked. I have over 3 hours, and didn`t think that was long enough to get a window seat. I have read that twice now. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Airlines with just a flight or two a day from an airport won't open up check-in more than 3 hours ahead. And if you just go there at just over 3-hours time, you'll probably be in the head of the queue.
Since nobody has seat assignments early, you will be fine.
