Asprin
I know it sounds silly anyone know where I can buy Asprin in BKK.
Been everywhere including Boots.
If anyone out there is coming from US perhaps I can buy from you.Cost plus your trouble.

Yes, as South says, you can buy it, just not by the name "aspirin." It will probably be labeled acetylsalicylic acid, but I've also seen it labeled simply as ASA. You might find brand-name Bayer Aspirin, but you will pay a lot more for it.

Aspirin is <b>not a brand name</b>. Bayer is a brand name, Anacin is a brand name, aspirin is not. It is a generic drug name for the chemical compound acetylsalicylic acid.
Generic drug names are used because chemical compound names are not usually as simple as acetylsalicylic acid.
For example, Levofloxacin is the generic name for (S)-9-fluoro-2,3-dihydro-3-methyl-10-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)-7-oxo-7H-pyrido[1,2,3-de]-1,4-benzoxazine-6-carboxylic acid, which is sold under the brand name Levaquin. Somehow, Levofloxacin is complex, but still easier to say than the chemical compound name . . .

Aspirin - is the brand name of Bayer, but they lost exclusive rights to this name in many places outside the US where it is now the generic name for the drug.
In Thailand paracetamol is far more popular than aspirin.
However I note from the OP's spelling that it is in the usual Western pronunciation of the word with just 2 syllables. If you ask for it in a Thai pharmacy, you may have more luck if you annunciate all THREE syllables "As-pi-rin" (or even As-pi-LIN)
or as advised ask for / look for "acetylsalicylic acid (ASA)"
Boots certainly carry aspirin both in normal dosed and the small coated doses to resist heart disease.

Bayer is a brand, Anacin is a brand. Aspirin in the US are aspirin regardless of whether Bayer or Ecotrin or Bufferin or Anacin or Up&Up or Walgreens or CVS is the brand name. Your facts are not facts. Aspirin is to Bayer as tadalafil is to Cialis (y'all can look those up and get a giggle, perhaps).
Paracetamol is acetaminophen and is neither aspirin nor a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). If the OP needs an NSAID, paracetamol does nothing for him/her. If the OP needs aspirin specifically, paracetamol is especially useless. Aspirin is different than most of the NSAIDs.

May I also add that the it's a good idea to check the actual tablets before ingesting them. They generally have a stamp on them identifying the drug. I would be especially vigilante when buying drugs of any kind in a foreign country.
I would look at the embossing, then I would google the image to make sure it's legitimate. It takes about five minutes, but it would give me peace of mind.
