3 days with snow monkey visit.

My wife and I will be flying into Tokyo Narita Feb 8 around 15:30 hrs. We are scheduled to depart at 11:00am on Feb 11 from Haneda.

We would like to ride a bullet train and see the snow monkey park. Other than that any suggestions of how we can get the best essence of Japan during our brief stop. We will be staying at the Park Hotel opposite the tower.

I have no idea when the jet lag or messed up body rhythms will begin. Perhaps someone with experience can tell us when or what to expect.

Cheers.

If you haven't already consulted it, you might find some valuable information
on japan-guide.com

Enjoy!

Well, everyone is different but generally you will be awake very early and start to flag mid-afternoon. That works in your favour as you can get an early train for your snow monkey visit. Note - you only have two full days on the ground. A day trip to Jigokudaniyaenkoen (Snow Monkey Park) is possible but it's a long day. Have you considered staying overnight in one of the onsen villages - Shibu Onsen is a very 'old timey' onsen village, reducing your already very limited time in Tokyo but giving you a bit of a rural Japan experience.
