2 days in Kuala Lumpar -what to do?

We are having a 3 night stopover in KL which gives us 2 full days. Can anyone help me out with suggestions on whats what in the city as we wont have time to venture further afield.<BR>Thanks

Petaling Street for ethnic shopping. go at night when most stalls are open. (It is hot in the day)<BR>National Museum<BR>National Plaetarium<BR>Batu Caves- You hike up about 270 steps to this Hindu temple in limestone caves

Just to add to what I wrote in the thread Tannin topped for you... I've finally visited Central Market (near the Pasar Seni LRT station), and it's a nifty place to buy souvenirs. Also finally visited one of the Pewter factories (Tumasek, in Kepong, which is just north of the city) and it was really neat to see. <BR><BR>Little India is near Chinatown. Try "banana leaf" if you like spicey food... always fun trying to eat saucey stuff with your fingers! <BR><BR>

Batu caves is a must!<BR>Monkeys everywhere!<BR><BR>the bird zoo, orchid garden and butterfyl garden are all great and very close to one another and you can do all three in like 2 or 3 hours.<BR><BR>Def. worth the ride out there.<BR><BR>KL tower right before sunset is amazing<BR>best view of the city.<BR><BR><BR>
