There should be no school holiday in mid-Oct, though I suspect weekends would be more crowded.

For the Sunroute hotel at the park, can I just pay for 1 pax and 2 adults stay in the hotel ?

Can also advice which cheap & good hotels (Budget JPY10,000) in Tokyo, we like to stay for 3 nights and visit Mt Fiji and city tours.
