Which low-cost airlines fly to Caribbean direct from IAH?

I am used to flying on Spirit from NYC or DC but am taking a trip w/ family and we'll all be departing from Houston. Are there any other airlines to check out that have some good deals from there to Caribbean? I know kayak and Orbitz etc. but the low-cost airlines usually aren't on those.

thanks!

I don't think any LCCs fly these routes.

For future reference, go to Wikipedia and search for an airport code and the entry will usually list the airlines and destinations served.

just checked whichbudget.com and, unless your going to florida, you are in no luck. Anyways, those routes are on SW out of Hobby, not IAH.

Several "low-cost" airlines serve Houston:

Hobby:
Southwest has a large hub
Jetblue flies to JFK
Airtran flies to ATL

IAH:
Frontier flies to DEN

Airtran serves SJU from ATL. Jetblue serves about 10 destinations in the Caribbean.

If you want to fly non-stop, it's Continental, Continental and Continental. Cayman Airways has stopped coming to IAH.

Thanks all, that's what I thought. Yeah rkkwan we want nonstop since it's just for a week. Continental has pretty good fares nonstop to a couple of destinations (STT, Puerto Rico) so that's probably our best bet. Definitely not flying all the way up to NYC or something. Could maybe stopover in Miami.

thanks for the help!

Continental also flies all over Mexico from Houston. It's not the Carribean, but you could get similar experiences on the Mexico coasts.
