United Airlines itinerary says Sat Jan 1 (Sun is Jan 1)
DD flying Boston-Washington Dulles today (Jan1, 2012). Have a printed copy of itinerary from when I booked flight - it says Sun. Jan 1. Went to print boarding pass. Itinerary now says Sat Jan 1. Sat is not Jan 1.
DD called United and got customer service rep with unintelligble Indian accent. DD called back. Got similarly accented person but this time she could understand her. It took a while to get rep to understand what the problem was but response was "it must be a mistake". No kidding - that is why we are calling. Rep says "I think you will be OK"
Printed boarding pass says Jan 1 (only - no day of week) - so I am thinking she will be OK. Any suggestions or comments? (She absolutely has to be on this flight as she is meeting a school group at IAD en route to Paris - separate flight booking as that one was done thru school travel agency).

How did it turn out gail?
We had a weird one from Aeromexico.......we were scheduled to fly from PV to Sacramento on Feb 29 via Guadalajara; they sent each of us an email saying our flight from Guadalajara to Sac had been changed.......to Feb 28. It took a few phone calls to get it across to them that simply wasn't going to work!!!

Dates worked out fine. But UA lost her luggage between BOS and IAD and she had to leave luggage-less to catch separate itinerary flight IAD-Paris for her month in Europe. UA sent her luggage on a nice vacation from BOS-IAD-Mexico-Raleigh-NYC-IAD and then Continental took it on a trip to Paris, where it spent 4 days at the airport while UA and CO argued with me about who had it - partly because somewhere on its vacation it picked up a new luggage tag number.
She and her luggage were reunited at CDG on Day 5 of her trip after she went to the luggage areas of both airlines (while en route to Berlin) and located her luggage - with time being a big factor since she was traveling with a group and had no control over arrival time at airport to go on her scavenger hunt. Luggage and daughter are now together in Prague and I am really jealous.
