Travel Insurance Swine Flu

We are traveling to India in next two weeks and I need some help in selecting travel insurance. Can anyone please suggest good insurance company which will cover 100% trip cancellation for swine flu. Anyone's personal experiance would be greatly appreciated. We are travelling with 2 years old and would like to cancel or postpone the trip because of swine flu. I was wondering if any of the travel insurance would cover it under cancel for any reason?
We have spent almost $4000 in tickets.

Thanks in advance!

AFAIK, trip insurance has to be purchased within 1 or 2 weeks of buying your ticket, so unless you just bought the tickets, you're out of luck.

You're saying you already know you want to cancel the trip before you buy the insurance? That will never work.

Look at the terms of your tickets and see what the penalty is for cancellation. You may be able to apply the value of your tickets to the purchase of future travel within a year, minus the cancellation fee.

But.... most of them do require purchsing of the insurance within x days of buying the tickets so READ carefully. Plus they probably would only cover "swine flu" if there was some type of offical World Healthcare Travel Advisory. (They do this to avoid what you may be wanting to do, the "opps" we changed our mind and want someone to pay. You may have a valid reason, but it's still a "changed our mind")

Why are you panicking, more people die of road accidents than from swine flu. Suggest you cancel the car journey to the airport first.

Could you clarify your question. Are you asking what travel insurance would cover if you get swine flu and can't travel? (I believe most would cover whether you buy it right at the time you booked your trip or buy it later unless you buy it when you already have swine flu.) Or are you asking what travel insurance would cover if there is swine flu reported at your destination? (I don't know if any of them would.) And there is insurance to cancel for any reason although I think most of those only reimburse a portion such as half of your non-refundable costs. Browse on www.insuremytrip.com or phone their customer service number.
