Boeing has received record orders for it's planes

Just a week after Emirates has placed a record order worth ~$18B for 50 777s, Boeing received an even bigger order from Lion Air, worth ~$22B for 230 737s, with an option for more planes worth ~$14B. American Airlines placed an order for 200 planes, mostly 787s, back in July.

It looks to me like Boeing will be pretty busy for the next few years and hopefully the company and their parts suppliers will start hiring more workers to keep up with the demand.

Another "big whopper" deal for Boeing. This time it's Southwest with an ~$19B order for new version of 737s.

I seem to recall that they were planning to build another plant, but the administration is opposing it. It sure sounds like they would need more workers.

UA just placed a $14B order so Boeing will be busy for some time.

Yes, lots of big orders for Boeing at this air show. I'm glad to see it.
