I tried to book on Superfares.biz and put all my personal and CC info in, only to receive a "302" message that it was declined. I tried to call both 800 numbers from the website multiple times during the day. These are not working phone numbers. They wouldn't respond to my email, but I did get someone to finally answer in live support. This was an extremely odd instant messaging session. Very unprofessional. They said they would notify their billing department, but were vague about what would happen next. When I started asking questions about the company, they just "disappeared" from the conversation. I finally called their 917 phone number. A man speaking poor English answered simply with "hello". He finally said that yes it was a business number, but wouldn't answer any questions about the company. He wouldn't give me a name, but said he was customer support. He became angry, yelling at me and telling me to stop telling him all my problems and go take care of them somewhere else. I immediately called my cc company, reported the website, and closed my account. I know an investigator and he checked it out. This is indeed a fraudulent site. PLEASE don't use them!!! He found the owner's name and email address and suggested I let people know how to contact him. His name is Brad Stout, address is in Georgia. His email address is [email protected]. Hope this helps some people. I am in the process of reporting this site to the officials.

On their main page, this "superfare" company claims to be a subsidiary of Dawson and Sanderson LTD. On a webpage actually operated by Dawson and Sanderson,
http://www.holidayco.co.uk/about.asp
there is this warning:
"BEWARE OF BOGUS WEBSITES
Please be aware of bogus websites which exist. The only websites which are owned or have any connection with Dawson and Sanderson Ltd are as follows:
www.travelco.co.uk
www.holidayco.co.uk
www.flightco.co.uk
www.hotelco.co.uk
www.forexco.co.uk
www.insuranceco.co.uk
www.carhireco.co.uk
www.bagaholiday.com
If any other website claims to be part of Dawson and Sanderson or a Registered Trade or Service mark of Dawson and Sanderson Ltd, do not use this site as this may be fraudulent."
The company name that comes up on the payment page, "Sprise Limited" is probably a play on words as in "Surprise...we obtained your credit card and personal information and now we can use this to make lots of fraudulent purchases for ourselves."

I can't tell you how glad I am that I went looking for information on SPrize before thinking of booking a fare with them! Like a few others here I was looking at airfares (to Australia) and was suspicious that they could charge almost $1000 less than anyone else (for 3 people). They also charged $10 for taxes etc, when it should be over $100.
Anyway, thanks to everyone out there that put information here about them! I ended up booking with Orbitz.
I noticed tonight also that they have changed the information at the bottom of the front page to the Dawson information, but they have not changed it on the bottom of all their other pages!

tommy53 - Yes, contact your CC issuer immediately. There was a similar post in another thread from a user who had the mysterious "credit card declined" message, with a floow-up note to wire the money (to someplace in central Europe)...

Please DO NOT order anything from superfares. I wish I had saw this site before placing an order last friday. Everything happened exactly as the other victims had said. This clever crook not only got my cc info but got me wire over $300. My cc company and bank have filed complaints and a case has been started. From what it seems there are other victims from this guy's 11 or so scam sites. Please be careful and go with what is same when it comes to your personal info and money. regards, tess

Hi, I just want to back up fraudinvestigator's post above dated 02/10/2005, 04:42 pm. He is quite correct in what he says. Looks like I've been caught out already on the Busysky.net website.
I parted with a very large sum of money on 3rd March 2005 and have not received any tickets, nor have I been able to get an answer from the person I was communicating with. My subsequent research for the past 4 days led me to about 7 sites namely the ones listed by fraudinvestigator. The sites had been dead for a few days then today most of them came alive again. It seems like "they" lay low for a little while then resurrect some again. I have informed the authorities in Bangkok (where my money was transferred by wire transfer) and reported it to the police here in UK. I can only hope now that an application from my end through my bank can retrieve most if not all of my money.

Hi,
Thanks to everyone who posted, I saved myself from being ripped off. It seems the guy has started a new fraud site http://www.flyjumbo.net/ . The posted ticket fare was more than 200 $ below the price on Expedia. Now the site says "FLYJumbo.net and Submit Your Price are registered service marks of SPrice, Inc." It was saying "Sprise Ltd." few hours ago.
When I contacted them by e-mail, they sent this reply
"Hello,
The only possible way is to send us the money for the ticket to our
bank account using a wire transfer. Our company is going to cover all bank
fees on the wire transfer. You just mark that bank fee should be paid by
receiver or send the ticket amout minus the bank fee to us."
Thanks.

My friend in England just tried to use the flyjumbo.net site after finding fares of almost half the price of other websites. Here is the response he got...
During investigation of the card transaction you attempted to place at your order time, we cannot get an authorization by the bank for charging the specified amount. The only option I
have is to proceed with an alternate method of payment, i.e. complete a wire transfer to our bank account.
To process the payment, please use the following bank info:
Bank name: Citizens Bank
Account number: 1109561544
Beneficiary: KP Communications
SWIFT Code: CTZ1U533
ABA routing: 011500120
Bank Branch details:
Rhode Island
1 Citizens Drive
Riverside
RI 02915
United States
So now the guy has moved his banking operation to the US?

you're right smuthia. His new website is Flyjumbo.net. I sort of fell for it. I got suspicious when I tried to use his "tell us your price" link and it asked me for my passport number. I went ahead and gave my info (name, address and email) but with a fake number. Thay's when I decided to look it up on this website (Thank you for the postings) . I hope this does not come back to bite me. Has anyone used this link?

Just to let you know that there is a newer site at www.bestflight.net. The same bank account as mightyspong's post quoted (dated 03/23/2005, 09:52 am) to pay into is being used there as well. These people don't seem to be giving up do they!!

For what it's worth, I have NEVER seen a website in the .biz domain that wasn't more trouble than it's worth. Not everything is an out and out scam, like this guy, but on the internet .biz means "spammer".
The page now has a link to "greatfares.biz", but when you click it it takes you to "ticketsaver.net". I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole even if I hadn't read of the scams here.
