Do you think Leoking has never, before my post, heard before of anyone combining drugs and alcohol?? No one is recommending this practice, and I also stated that I rarely need to take any sleeping pills on a plane these days.

Fellow posters do not need to act as policemen. That's the moderators job.

I must admit that I find many of the descriptions of personal experiences with drugs on this thread disconcerting. The bottom line, IMO, is that the OP would do well to consult a physician -- a physician who knows what other medications the OP is taking or what other medical conditions the OP has or any number of other factors that could be relevant. Some of the responses to this thread mention the critical importance of those considerations -- and I applaud the posters who have emphasized them.
