Same itinerary bought from different code-sharing airlines..?
My husband and I have AA frequent flyer tickets to Israel that include a one night stopover in Paris. We decided to take our son along and have to buy his ticket. We called both AA and ELAL; the AA ticket was MUCH more expensive so we went with ELAL. The itinerary is exactly the same and we even were given the his seat number on the AA legs of the trip. So, is there any reason to think that there would be any boarding issues on the AA legs?
Thanks and remember, there are no stupid questions...

There should be no problems whatsoever because of this. Just ensure all of your documents are proper.
I would have said "will" instead of "should" but it's always possible to get the one idiot in a million working for the airline.....

If I try to book tickets on Swiss from ORD to Zurich on the United site rather than on Swiss Air site (I have UA FF acct) I will see a price that is waaaaaay more on the UA site. It's the exact same itinerary on both sites. Swiss prices are much lower than UA prices. Depending on ticket price code, I usually still earn my miles flying on Swiss since they are part of the Star Alliance.

I wouldn't imagine you'd have a problem. Codeshare prices are a rort I think btw. Singapore Business class would not take me all the way through to Cairo from Australia. I was going to have to change to Egypt Air ECONOMY. I cannot work that one out. Enjoy your trip Marshall.
