Is there anyway to avoid getting the passport stamped
Just flew EasyJet from Tallinn, Estonia to Berlin. Only five gates at the Tallinn Airport so I did not get lost. The fasten seat belt sign (well, you expect me to say this) was on for the first 7 minutes and the last 12 minutes of the 1 1-2 hour flight. There was more room on the seats compaired to Span Air.
Anyway, the only problem going to Tallinn, is that they stamped my passport in Helsinki when I left by ship, then again when I arrived in Tallinn, then again when I left Tallinn, and again when I arrived in Berlin. That is four stamps and I only have four blank spaces left. When I left Helsinki, the passport guy said, you have traveled a lot. I said, when you go to Tallinn, you get a lot of stamps.
Anyway to avoid this. What do you frequent flyers do about this.

If you do have some time left on your passport, get extra pages.
Hint: If you have some free time during your travels in a city that has US Consulate, get it done there. It's free and usually takes less than 1 hour.
In May I had it done at the Tokyo Embassy and it took about 2 hours in the morning, total, from my vacation time, and that included subway transportation both ways and waiting for the Consulate to insert 12 pages - Free!!! No mailing and no worries.

Great idea about having it done in person for free. I do not like mailing a passport.
The city of Berlin was alive last night. I will never forget what the German flag looks like. Things are a little quiet this morning.
I will be flying home from my four week trip to Europe tomorrow. Time sure does go fast when one spends money.
