Interline agreements - where can I find them?

I am trying to find if I can check my bags all the way thru from LHR to Sin my flights are NOT connected. first flights is C class on Eva to BKK then from BKK to SIN on Singapore Airlines y class. I have searched but I cannot find this info anywhere ( it's probably right under my nose!)
I am sure I found a web page once detailing Eva's interline partners.
Last year we were able to check our luggage all the way thru to REP from LHR on Eva air/ Bangkok Airways route. Am hoping to do the same.
Can anyone help please?

Mr smarty pants I did spend 10 minutes searching the web for the answer and found none; hence my suggestion. I'm not familiar w/Eva air phone etiquette

You could call Singapore air and see what they say. I would guess they'd have better phone agents.
Or are you too lazy to pick up a phone? Sorry but with airlines like these whatever we say here has no meaning- it's what they say when you get there.and I don't appreciate sArcasm when I try to help.

Airlines are not in the habit of publishing their interline baggage agreements. Most major airlines have them with each other; I'd be very surprised if SQ and BR didn't.

Thanks Gardyloo I think it was Bangkok air I may have seen "some" of this info so just assumed it was readily available but your response has helped me figure out why I couldn't find it. Am hoping someone who has flown both of these airlines may know ( slim chance I know) failing that I will of course enquire when I check in but wanted to see of I could find any evidence of it before hand.

What a useless answer by mztery! I also agree that the best and most knowledgeable forum for air travel is Flyertalk.com. Some rude or arrogant posters there like here on Fodors but much more knowledgeable.

EVA and SQ are not code-share partners but on EVA's website they say that they will check your luggage through if you have a confirmed ticket. See: http://www.evaair.com/html/b2c/engli...nsfer_Arrival/

From the SQ website:

List of partner airlines

If you are travelling on a Singapore Airlines operated flight and connecting to any of the below carriers, you will be able to perform a through check-in for both flights, provided that the booking is on a Singapore Airlines ticket.

However, if your journey begins with any of the following carrier and connecting to a Singapore Airlines flight, you may wish to check with that carrier directly.

Adria Airways (JP)
British Airways (BA) Garuda Indonesia (GA) Shanghai Airlines (FM)
US Airways (US)
Aegean Airlines (A3) British Midland Airways (BD) Iberia (IB) SilkAir (MI) Vietnam Airlines (VN)
Aer Lingus (EI) Blue1 (KF)
Icelandair (FI) South African Airways (SA) Virgin Atlantic Airways (VS)
Air Canada (AC) Brussels Airlines (SN) KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KL) Spanair (JK) Wideroe Flyveselskap (WF)
Air China (CA) Continental Airlines (CO) LOT Polish Airlines (LO) Swiss International Airlines (LX)
Air India (AI) Croatia Airlines (OU) Lufthansa (LH) TAM Linhas Aereas (JJ)
Air New Zealand (NZ) Delta Air Lines (DL) Olympic Airways (OA) TAM Airlines (PZ)
All Nippon Airways (NH) Dragonair (KA) Philippine Airlines (PR) TAP Air Portugal (TP)
American Airlines (AA) EgyptAir (MS) Qantas Airways (QF) Thai Airways (TG)
Asiana Airlines (OZ)
EL AL Israel Airlines (LY) Royal Brunei Airlines (BI) Turkish Airlines (TK)
Austrian Airlines (OS) Emirates Airline (EK) Scandinavian Airlines (SK) United Airlines (UA)

Interline baggage agreements are usually much more numerous than lists like the above. In general most airlines with which major carriers like BR and SQ <i>wouldn't</i> have baggage agreements would be "low cost" carriers like Southwest, Ryanair, easyJet, etc.

speaking of useless answers.:

1) the Eva Air link just says when the OP already knew -that if Eva has an interline agreement, the bags will be checked through.

2) The post you quoted from Singapore answers the REVERSE, not from Eva to SQ. The post itself says check with your originating airline. It seems to be an Eva air ticket the OP is concerned about.

My suggestion to call Singapore air is that their agents are usually knowledgable and may even have a better contact number for Eva, or a better way to find the answer.

Mztery - not going to get into a spat with you and agree what you said was a suggestion but it's was rude the way you put it "umm... Call them?" you and I both know that was a sarcastic response. Anyway thanks to everyone else for your help, I'll skip over to FT
