How to buy travel insurance for a multi-city trip instead of a round trip
Hello!
My wife and I live in Arkansas, but are planning to travel to Europe from NYC because we are currently in Pennsylvania visiting her relatives.
(we haven't bought our tickets to Europe yet because we wanted to see how the Iceland volcano situation turned out).
We want to leave Tuesday or Wednesday from JFK to Prague, and we plan to go on to Turkey.
Our goal is to return from Istanbul to Little Rock (our residence) on May 11.
It seems like most travel insurance policies cover you only if you are leaving and returning to your city of residence.
Can we qualify for any travel insurance in our situation?
If so, what kind of policies from which companies?
If not, do you have any suggestions for what we can do to get travel insurance?
Thank you for your help!

What do you want to insure against? If it's the volcano forcing cancellation of your flights you'd better read the fine print very carefully - not only is it likely an "act of God" it may well also be a pre-existing condition. Personally I only take out medical evacuation insurance (my medical ins works abroad).
