Flying during the shutdown

During the shutdown, some airports are impacted more than others, but the impacts change hourly and daily and are predicted to increase.

Check the Misery Map:

At the bottom left corner, click on the blue boxed arrow to see conditions by hour/day.

I'm planning to fly to Worcester, Massachusetts on the 19th (via PHL) to visit my sister. If this situation isn't resolved by then, I might postpone. We'll wait and see.

Update: No issues on my trip, I'm now in MA. Let's hope for the same on my trip home.
