Flyeurope.com
I wondered if flyeurope.com is a reliable place to buy tickets. Anyone has good or bad experience with them that you can share? Are the prices here reasonable?
I got a quote for Denver (Oct 22) to TXL and from BRU to IST (Nov 8) and IST to DEN (Nov 12)
1.UA he said around $955
2.KLM around $900
The representative used the word "around" and asked me to submit the form on line with my email address. He said even if I bought the tickets in September the price won't change. Could I believe that and wait? Or should I buy them now?
Thanks!

Most paid fares on UA and KLM earn 100% FF miles, but to find out you need to know the "fare class" or "booking class", and then check with the FF program you want to deposit those miles in.
Also, check Orbitz. That's the best site for actual online booking of complicated international routings. Problem with many other travel sites is that you give them all your information by email, they reply to you next day, and then tell you they "may" be able to do this or do that, etc... Total waste of time. I hate that.

tlaw - I was busy this afternoon, so couldn't do more research back then.
Anyways, first to answer your question. There are many different booking class on each flight, and the number and the letter differ from airline to airline. For example, on Northwest, these are all economy fare class and all earn miles:
Y, B, M, H, Q, V, L, T, K
That doesn't even include First or World Business class (P, F, J, C, Z), and other non-mile earning classes.
On many airlines website, you can find such letter in parenthesis. For example, you'll see on the schedule: "Economy (V)". That's your fare class.
Anyways, I plug in your itineraries on itasoftware and Orbitz, and most fares are $1,300+. <$1,000 would be very good, so you may want to give that site a try. Those are probably consolidator fares, which may or may not earn miles. You have to ask them what booking class each segment is in. And then go to the website of the airline you're going to put miles in, to find out if those fares qualify.

rkkwan, thank you very much for you help!
I have more questions about airfare class. If I have a certain class ticket (V or whatever) , does it mean anything to me other than the fare? For example, does it mean I get less benefits from the airline when I fly, does it mean I can't get an upgrade, etc?
Thanks again!

First, sorry for mistyping your screen name...
Now, each fare class has its own rules. Some, like Y in coach, is full-fare non-refundable anytime. But they are also ridiculously expensive. Others may have blackout dates; advance purchase rules; maximum date before return; different refund, upgrade and FF-earning rules.
It's very complicated, and each airline has their own class nomenclature and rules.
