Finding FF dates from ORD to LHR

I’ve been searching the United website, trying to book award travel in business class from Chicago to London. My travel dates are flexible, but roughly May 13 to 27. I hunted and pecked all over, but always get the message,” There are no flights that meet your request.” Any tips, especially from UAL employees, who can help with suggestions?

Thanks to all.

You might have to call UA. They charge $15.00 a ticket to do this. I ended up paying that but it was worth it as they ended up getting the dates and the seats that I requested. (This was after numerous calls and getting answers I didn't like) Keep trying until you get a helpful rep.

When you call, make sure they check all the partner airlines too if UA flights are not available. USAirways, BMI, Lufthansa, etc. Even Singapore Airlines have flight from US to Europe.

While I can't see award seat status on the availability tool I use, you might have a look at the morning flight outbound on 20 March, or the 4:15pm departure the next day. Both are showing lots of availability in paid fare classes, which may (or may not) be a sign of capacity in award classes. Otherwise, call them - again and again if need be.

I recently got an award travel with Delta, but I told them I was willing to fly to any airport in Europe and return from any airport. There are cheap flights to London once in Europe. Is there anywhere in Europe you wouldn't mind spending a day or two? I got the ticket for just 50,000 miles in June and July.

Thanks to all for the great suggestions. I'm sure I'll be able to make it work.
