had the less than pleasant experience twice in Sept to fly on Ethiopian Airlines thru Addis Ababa. my choice so only myself to blame. worn down interiors, prefunctory service, poor food choices and quality and no individual air flow(personal pet peeve)made it really difficult to enjoy. though i will say that the amount of choice and performance of the in-flight entertainment was greater than expected. and transiting thru Addis Ababa was a nightmare. granted, they appear to be trying to upgrade to accommodate the crowds, but the construction is currently making it worse. hot, smelly, interminable security waits, and NO food/beverage options after security. you have to leave the gate areas and come back thru security again to find anything to eat or drink or do any shopping. and throughout the entire airport, there are just not enough chairs to seat waiting passengers during most times of the day. i would avoid if you have ANY other options.
