Business class on icelandair

I see some good prices for business class on Icelandair. How is their service on routes Minneapolis to Europe?

Icelandair's Saga Class has seats that are 2-2 on their 757 aircrafts with 38" pitch. Which is basically what you get for domestic first class on narrowbody planes in the US. They are far from the international business class seats that you get from most airlines' trans-Atlantic service.

Just how good are we talking, though? If the prices are around 150% of coach prices, then they are in the range of premium economy fares and I would definitely consider them.

If the fares are above that, then what rkkwan says holds and I wouldn't spend the money.

FWIW, I know several people who have flown Icelandair and most say it isn't that bad, and that the transfers in Iceland, in particular, are a breeze.

If it's the same price as premium economy, then you should also consider those airline offering premium economy, though you probably need a connection from MSP, and probably through London again, if that's not your destination.

Iceland Air is the "coolest way to cross the Atlantic." The airport is pretty chilly, too.

I've been on Icelandair a few times and it's a good airline. Layovers in Keflavik are easy, no matter how short they are. Many many times better than LHR/LGW.

Doesn't metter if you fly Econ or Saga class ... we travelled in Econ and it's very good, imo. On the morning leg to Europe from Keflavik we were served HOT breakfast (omelette, ham, etc) - I turned to my DH and said when was the last time we had this??????
