but I do have a question. When did AA fly BOS-CDG? This was a 2 class 763 and AA does fly it from JFK, MIA and ORD to CDG, but I don't think they ever flew it from BOS. I could be wrong.

And it's day flight, nevertheless. I wonder about that, but I don't know...

The BOS-CDG flight was scheduled for departure at 6:10PM and it was sunset when they departed, dark on the flight, and dark on arrival at CDG, probably around 7AM. At the time of year when it is sunset in Boston around 6PM it could be dark in Paris at 7AM, so that looks about right.

The pilot's Wednesday didn't end until he went to sleep but that had to have been Thursday AM in Paris. When he woke up he started his Thursday but it was probably early afternoon.

The daylight return is ok.

AA actually had a BOS-CDG flight?

Not that I know about. The departure time was on the monitor in the vid. Some of the computer equipment looked like it could have been 10 years old. That monitor didn't look all that great and the the display where the cpt was entering in info looked like it was just DOS prompts, command line not graphical user interface, and not even Win 95. But it could be that it is just an old program and/or equipment that is not broke so they didn't fix it and the vid is from last week (or rather it could be from just before the collective memory of rkkwan and AAFF of the AA routes).

Or the video could have been created last year. The following is from a press release issued last May (the URL is too long to post).

The Boston-Paris flight, which resumed yesterday, will use a Boeing 767- 300 aircraft, with 28 Business Class and 182 Coach Class seats. This flight will provide direct, daily non-stop service to Charles De Gaulle Airport, and will operate with the following schedule:

It looks like seasonal service only. May 1 is the start date.

I have flown BOS-CDG several times on AA (on a 767). I didn't realize it was seasonal service though.
