There's no source. The Macau airport (MFM) opened in 1995 and Air Macau (NX) also started flying then, using MFM as its hub and HQ. I follow news in Hong Kong and Macau regularly, and I don't recall any accident or incident for either.

As for general information about the airline, you can try their website or wikipedia, or just do a general Google search.
It's 50% owned by the Chinese Government, the rest TAP Portugal, EVA Air of Taiwan, Stanley Ho, etc...
Its main business is to transfer Taiwanese people to/from China, as an alternate to using Hong Kong. But with the booming gaming industry, they're also expanding to elsewhere in Asia, ferrying gamblers to the casinos.
