Air France Amenities?
My last international travel was in Business Class. But we are soon to fly economy on Air France 11 hours to Paris on an overnight flight and I'm wondering (We last flew econ to Europe in 2006):
Does Air France still provide blanket, eye mask, and ear plugs in economy?
Do they still have self-service between-meal snacks?
Do they still provide dinner and breakfast on an overnight flight? (The ticket info just says "meal" on one ticket and "breakfast" on the other).
Also someone mentioned on this forum you could "buy your way" into the business lounge at CDG if you had a long layover. I doubt this, but thought I'd ask. Thanks.

Pretty sure that they do not provide either eye masks or ear plugs.
I don't recall seeing a self-serve cart in coach.
Pretty sure that they offer some sort of breakfast prior to arrival, but make no guarantees as to quality.
I do not think that they sell day passes to the lounges.

I just checked my "travel junk drawer"-
Air France coach amentiy kit consists of
cheap eye-mask, ear plugs, moist towelette,
and ear-phones for movie.
The last time I flew Air France was Nov. 09,
CDG-MIA.
I don't remember if you had to ask for blankets
or pillows.
Dinner and breakfast served, no self serve snacks.
Free Wine!!!

<<Free Wine!!!>>
A gentle addition to poochie's good info:
Free FRENCH wine!!
Good stuff.
I just flew AF a year ago and as of March 2010 all of the above was still true.
Geordgie, your mom must be a hoot!! That sounds like something my grandmother would have said.

I flew Air France two days ago--on an Airbus A380--an afternoon flight from CDG to JFK.
These were included in Voyageur (coach) class:
blanket
pillow
eye mask, ear plugs, and moist towelette in little plastic case
headphones for entertainment system
beverage service with pretzels
main meal (two entree choices) with menu provided
self-service between-meal beverages (I did not look for snacks)
light meal/beverage an hour before landing
This aircraft had individual entertainment systems at each seat, with a multitude of movies on demand, as well as TV, games, music, and so forth.
