Aerosvit is based in Kiev, Ukraine. I seriously doubt they have the most convenient flight between TLV and the New York area. Continental and El Al fly non-stop between the two markets. Delta is also starting their own in late March.

Based on some research I've done, Aerosvit has 3 767-300ERs that they use for trans-Atlantic service. All of them were built for SAS between 1989 and 1991.
I don't know about service or IFE or seats, but I wouldn't expect personal video screens.
The main issue with flying "smaller" airlines like this is what happens when there's irregular operation. They only have 3 planes that can make the flight to JFK, and it's only about 3x weekly. If one plane breaks down at Kiev, your daughter may be stuck there for a while before they can get her back to NY.
This is not anything specific against Aerosvit, just the nature of these airlines in general.
