Hey, folks. Has anyone flown from Boston to Dublin on Aer Lingus Flight #138. I have paid extra for seats with extra leg room and Aer Lingus SWEARS that seat 11A and 11B have extra legroom. According to replies from some of you, you do not believe that to be the case.....We leave Sept 10 so I need to be certain! Aer Lingus told this is an Airbus 330.

According to seatguru, your described seats are bulkhead seats on the A330-200er. The bad news is that it's next to the lavatory. If you're trying to sleep, people will stand in front of you and actually step on you, as it's happened to me.

On the A330-300, you have seats that barely recline. You also will be next to the lavatory.

I have already answered your question on June 28. You are flying on the A332, which has Row 11 as bulkhead. So you have extra legroom as that's what you pay for.

This is a follow up from our trip! We traveled Jet Blue from Charlotte to Boston and on our return Boston to Charlotte.....super! Staff was friendly, efficient, and seats were comfortable and roomy. We will definately use them again. From Boston to Dublin and return, we flew Aer Lingus. Again this was fantastic. The staff was helpful, friendly and our seats were great. Our seats were 11A and 11C and it was a bulkhead area (the lavatory was on the other side of the plane)....lots of leg room. On our return, our seats were 39 A and 39 C, exit row. The seats were again fantastic. The seats did recline on all flights. The lavatory was in front of us but due to the large amount of space it was not an issue.

The meals and snacks were above average and the crew was superior. No complaints of any kind. We will use them again.

In response to Miss Green, I think our upgraded seats for both of us both ways was a total of $160....$40 per person per leg of trip. It was worth it to us!

Additionally, we found the Irish to be super friendly and helpful. We experienced no problems and everyone was very willing to help us however they could. At one point I stopped a gentleman on the street and asked for directions and he turned around and walked with us to the door of the restaurant - about three blocks. So nice.

Oh, I forgot.....the meals and snacks were FREE. We had beverage/snack near beginning of the flight to Dublin, then we had dinner, then a snack/beverage before landing in Dublin. On the return home, the same.....beverage/snack, lunch, beverage snack before landing. Super!
