Can anyone recommend a reliable Canadian travel agent who could organize an East African safari?

Hi there,

I'm from BC and have been to Kenya, Tanzania, Botswana, South Africa & Zanzibar and have never used a Canadian travel agent.

There are plenty of recommendations on here from travellers, pick 3 that resonate with you and request a quote. Just watch out for those on this forum who are promoting their own business, not all but some.

For East Africa I used Sandi at Africa Serendipity who is in NYC and who helps people on here a lot.

I have used Reservations Africa in Victoria, and so have friends that I referred to RA. I was originally referred to Reservations Africa by Wilderness Safaris, who do not take direct bookings. RA is one of two companies in Canada that Wilderness recommended. We have used them since (2006), and always been happy with their knowledge/service. CR

When travelling to such far away places, it is always useful with the country you are visiting. For starters, you should always know your contact with the U.S. embassy.
