Cairo Tour Company

We are adding on a few days in Cairo after a trip to Israel. Looking for a reputable Tour company for a short visit to Cairo.

We have found many posts for longer trips, but very few for the 3 day add ons. The packages are much more cost effective than buying the tours and hotel separately.
Do you have any tour company recommendations?
Thanks

Jackie - if you are using a tour operator for Israel, they should be able to do a 3-day add-on for Egypt. Contact them. Otherwise, do a search on this board for "egypt" and those threads will appear in the left column where can read and get some name of in-country Egyptian tour operators.

My Israeli tour operator doesn't have packages in Egypt. I have already reviewed the historical posts - they focus on the longer trips full package trips. Any advice on the short add on tour operators?

Jackie - I believe anyone of the Egyptian in-country operators can arrange 3-days for you in Cairo.

If located in the USA, contact ISRAM Travel
www.isram.com (I believe, or do a search - located in NYC)

They do full tours, but can probably arrange 3-days Cairo, as I know they do both Israel and Cairo and they have these things called "mini-paks" Check the site to see what they offer in for these short trips.

Hope this works for you.

Ooops, another thought - if you can wait till you're in Israel you can walk into any travel agent in TLV or JER and have them do it for you. They should be able to arrange air, hotels, airport transfers and tours - meaning having a guide/driver for your days at Pyramids, Sphinx, Memphis, Saqqara, Museum, Khan el Khalili Bazaar, any other you might find of interest during your time in CAI.

You can do Cairo yourself with a guide/driver arranged by your hotel. If the budget allows it is a great way to travel.
