Anyone recording Eye of the Leopard?

Hello,

Any chance I could persuade someone out there with a DVD recorder to record this and send it to me? I'll pay the postage.

As you can tell from the elephant-hunting lions thread, we are rather behind when it comes to on National Geographic films...

Cheers,
Julian

Hi Julian,

The Elephant killing Lion films are over 10 years old.....but, you're right it's going to be forever before i get to see this leopard film....

Hi Julain,

I would do this for you in a heartbeat however after checking both my "raffle prize" DVD players, neither one records. Sorry.

Oops, I see I gave you a new name. Here's an idea JulIAN. Pop on over this weekend to watch the show and stay through the following weekend for our LA GTG!

PS- I also see they will be re-running the program Monday and Friday night.

Hi Carla,

Unfortunately I'm leaving for Tanzania next Wednesday, so I'll have to make do with real leopards!

Cheers,
Julian

Be happy to do it for you. Plays NG, USA, Oct 8th and repeated. Will let you know when done.

ps - I'm working on my safari report, including Mala Mala. Will I beat you getting Mala posted? (Or have I missed yours?)

Julian, you are killing me. That was awesome.

What channel is this show going to be on? Ever since I moved from TiVo to my Time Warner DVR, I miss the ability to search for keywords in the names of the programs.

Hi Tom,

That would be brilliant -- thanks! I'll send you my postal address off the board.

I'm almost done with the Singita section of my trip report and will be moving on to MM shortly. I'm absolutely determined to get it done before I leave for Tanzania!

Hi Andy,

It's on the National Geographic channel.

Hi Carla,

After this one it will be quite a while until my next trip (April 2007, unless I do a long weekend in February or March) so I'll have plenty of time to work on my photos.

Cheers,
Julian

I've got a TivO with a DVD burner so I can be Tom's back up for Julian's copy and I'll get Hari taken care of.

For everyone in the US, here is the link to this special,

http://channel.nationalgeographic.co...he_scenes.html

have a look at some behind the scenes footage too. Looks excellent! I'll have to wait probably a few months till we see it over here in Australia on Nat Geo cable.

Cheers

Hi PB,

Thanks for backing me up with the DVD -- hopefully I won't need it with Tom in the picture, but you never know!

Cheers,
Julian

Ok with me if someone backs me up. Have I ever: mis-set the TV channel, mis-set the timer, forgotten, had a bad DVD, didn't turn on equalizer? Nope not me, never ;-)
regards - tom
ps - good new is that it is repeated several times
