Going to Joberg on business but want to take a side trip for a few days to Zululand. Would like trip and hotel ideas please.

major attractions:
december-february: giant sea turtles on the beach near rocktail and thonga (ne coastline).
year round: battlefields, phinda/wetland game reserves, & zulu cultural centers.
surfing in durban.
