Which IHG property in Dubai?

We will be in Dubai next March. We have free night certificates for any of the IHG properties. Several look really good, and I can not decide. Of importance is location, great pool area, and nice big room. We are trying to choose between Crowne Plaza Festival City, Crowne Plaza Deira, Intercontinental Dubai, Intercontinental Marina or Intercontinental Festival City. Thank you!

As far as location is concerned : Dubai is a long and narrow city, from Deira (airport) to Dubai Marina is over 40 kms. But taxis are cheap and plentiful.
Deira is my least favorite area. It is nearest to the old centre (for what it's worth) and close to the airport.
Festival City is somewhat more central at Dubai Creek which is nice.
My favorite area however is Dubai Marina. It's the newest 'addition' at the farther end of Dubai with a beautiful marina, the famous Walk with great shopping, the beach boulevard and Marina Walk, all with restaurants and bars. And while the Intercontinental is not right on the beach, the pretty beach ('The Beach at JBR') is just a short taxi ride away, or a walk if it's not too hot.
I cannot advise on the quality of the hotels as I didn't stay in any of them.
